Everyone calls this "The Best Spot in Carlsbad!" . . . would you like to know WHY???
#1. We have fantastic whitewater views of the ocean, the lagoon, and the coastline.
#2. We are NOT on a noisy street with lots of traffic, or next to a bar, a restaurant, or apartments with loud parties at night.
#3. We have a beautifully landscaped grassy yard and patio looking over the ocean.
#4. We are just a short walk to the beach.
#5. We are close to everything!
There are two houses on our property. Each house is completely separate and self -contained with a separate yard, and they are very similar. Your home-away-from home at the beach is fully equipped, and features wonderfully comfortable beds with all-cotton bedding, a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of off-street parking, wireless broadband, private laundry facilities, a grassy yard with patio furnished for outdoor dining and lounging, a propane grill, a fire-ring with granite surround for enjoying an evening beverage, and an outdoor shower with hot water for your pleasure upon returning from the beach. (The outdoor shower is the only shared facility on the property.)
And it's sparkling clean!
At the beach you will find lifeguards, restrooms and showers. There are designated areas for surfing and swimming. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogey boards, beach toys and coolers are provided. Pelicans, egrets, seagulls, and great blue herons will point the way as you follow the short and easy scenic trail from the property to the beach (about a block-and-a-half).
In the evening, enjoy the view of the magnificent sunset over the Pacific and the graceful flight of many sea birds, while you cook dinner on the grill. If you've brought children, there's plenty of room for them to play, and you can relax knowing they are safe in the yard.
Stroll, bike, or rollerblade a few blocks up the coast to the "village" for lunch. Explore the small shops, boutiques, antique stores and cafes. There are many excellent restaurants.
Or, if you are in the mood to really "kick back", pick up one of our fishing poles and walk a few steps from your door to the lagoon. With a little luck, you 'll catch a delicious halibut for dinner!

Carlsbad is 35 - 45 minutes North of San Diego, and is known for it's charming seaside village with many small shops and restaurants, its great beaches, fabulous shopping at Carlsbad Premium Outlets, and Legoland.
The beach is great for swimming, surfing, sand castle building, and sunning. A wide walkway along the beach is perfect for a sunset stroll or morning jog. The nearby lagoon offers jetskiing, waterskiing, and sailing, and fishing.
There are many excellent golf courses nearby, including La Costa and Torrey Pines. Also available are hot air balloon rides, horseback riding, wine tasting, etc.
Nearby attractions are too numerous to mention, including Legoland Seaworld, The Wild Animal Park, The San Diego Zoo, Birch Aquarium, Disney Land (1 hour) Universal Studios and all the entertainment possibilities of Los Angeles (1Hour 45 min) and so many more!
