Our Ironwood pool is a short walking distance from the villa, or take a short 2 min. drive to the main pool resort pool, with swim up bar. For the beach goers, take the 'Summer Time' hourly shuttle service to the beach, from the shuttle stop located near the Ironwood pool.
For all the shoppers!! The Shuttle also makes stops at the Barefoot Landing shopping area, which is directly in front of Barefoot Resort. Barefoot Landing contains many shops, restaurants, and nightly entertainment including the House of Blues, and Alabama Theater. When the shuttle is not available the beach and Barefoot shopping area is only a 5 min. drive from Ironwood.
Barefoot has a new professional golf school, with a new one of the best in Myrtle Beach driving ranges. Barefoot Sports Bar is attached to golf school and driving range. Visit the newly opened Docksider's Grille, offering lunch, dinner and a full service bar overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.

Direction to Barefoot Resorts –Ironwood #831—Coming from North
1.In North Myrtle traveling Rt 17 south, turn right on 46th Ave South, and travel over the “Metal Swing Bridge” (“House Of Blue” on left), which bring you into Barefoot Resort.
2.Go straight, passing the Firehouse, Golf Club House, and about 1/4 mile pass Club House, watch signs for Ironwood. ( if you come to a circle, you went to far) Take a left on Oyster Catcher Drive, and go straight and you will see the entrance to Ironwood (on left). Enter into the Ironwood community, and we are Building # 8. Unit 831 (top floor/left end unit of building).
