While Casa Schuck is one of many lovely and luxurious b&b options in San Miguel we offer a unique old-world experience for our guests inside our private walled compound; the chance to stay in a private home, with gardens, a dining room and living area, a roof deck overlooking the glittering city lights, a pool, and plenty of private nooks and crannies on the property to explore outside of your room. Breakfast is served each day in the dining room off the central courtyard, and guests can enjoy a wide range of local dishes served by our professional kitchen staff. Meals can be taken in the dining room or on the patio. A refreshment bar across the courtyard from the dining room serves up soda, Margaritas, wine, beer, and bottled water for guests at any hour. The 1,500 square foot roof top deck, accessible through the garden, overlooks the city skyline, and serves all guests for sun tanning and relaxing during the day. At dusk guests often gather to watch the stunning sunsets over the lake and mountains. Our staff is discreet and attentive, and a member of our team is available to aid in making your stay a memorable one. All guests rooms face the inner garden courtyard and have hand-carved French doors that open to the lush jacaranda trees and inner patio. Guest rooms are all equipped with king-sized beds and deluxe bath rooms, with tubs, showers, and purified water. Each room has a fireplace and modern heating system for the more mild months. Robes and slippers are stocked in each closet, and bathrooms are stocked with soaps, shampoos, and necessities you may have forgotten to pack. Land line phone service is not available in guest rooms, though there is a house telephone for making calls that are billed to your room. Internet access is available as well Wi-Fi. Because we strive to keep Casa Schuck dignified and quiet with a lovely living room, a grand salon with couches, reading chairs, and a book and video library.

RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS POLICIES : A " HOLD " is made for the full amount on the credit card given when creating this reservation. It is NOT a charge, strictly a hold, holding the complete funds which is used by hotels around the world. If you chose to pay by check or cash, then the holding amount , upon arrival is removed from the credit card on file. With out this, the reservation is not guaranteed. We believe our cancellation policy is consistent with the other Bed & Breakfasts in San Miguel. We do not want to keep your deposit if you do not stay in our hotel, so, we have tried to make our cancellation policy as clear as possible. Please read our cancellation policy and ask questions if you need to.
* There is no cancellation charge if you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to your check-in date. All payments are non-re fundable if cancellations are made within 30 days or less of your check-in date.
* There is a cancellation fee of $110.00 USD per room, per reservation.
* All rates are based on single or double occupancy and include taxes and full gourmet breakfast.
* Tips are not included for the staff. A 5% service fee will be added to the total bill upon departure and for weddings and special events its 10%.
* Several rooms may accommodate 3 people in which case an additional person fee of $40 USD applies
Holiday Exclusions:
* Christmas week, New Years' week guest rooms must be booked for a minimum of 5 days.
* Payments must be paid in full upon reserving. You must cancel before 45 days of arrival date for a refund, less cancellation fees.
* All guest rooms have an extra fee of $40 USD for these weeks
Children and Pets:
* Casa Schuck is not suitable for pets, well-behaved children over 14 years welcome
Smoking:
* Smoking is permitted in some outdoor common areas of the hotel, but not in any bedrooms or common rooms or private terraces.
