Before you even set foot in 6 Jack Pine Lane you will know that for the next week you are going to be living in luxury. As you drive up to this Sunriver vacation home you are greeted with a large paved driveway that you know will easily fit the vehicles of all your dinner guests (no scratched paint on the door of Uncle Jim’s Beamer this year)! The front entryway will welcome you on your return from an evening of star gazing at the Sunriver Observatory, by means of a set of stairs lined with ground level solar lights.
The kitchen in this home is huge- absolutely perfect for your big holiday dinner! Three sinks mean everyone will be able to pitch in with the dinner preparations- as one cleans the spuds, another can be keeping up on dishes. The kitchen is complete with top of the line, modern appliances, including a large fridge/freezer to store food for the whole extended family, and even a nicely concealed trash compactor. Two ovens eliminate the need for a ‘Turducken’ because you’ll be able to cook both a turkey and a duck. There are also two islands, providing ample serving space, as well as extra counter top seating for the kids. The kitchen then opens up to a very elegant dining room.
A leather settee faces both the flat screen television and the real wood fireplace so you’ll be able to kick back with a good family film while you wait for your meal to digest. A second TV room downstairs eliminates any quarrels over whether to watch ‘Babe- Pig in the City’ or ‘The Walton’s Thanksgiving Story’.
This home features a fabulous deck area, overlooking the 7th green on the Meadows Golf Course. The upper deck features plenty of deck furniture so you can lay back in a deck chair to soak up some rays, or gather outside for a mid afternoon picnic after your long morning bike ride or rafting trip. The lower deck features a wooden swing chair that looks right onto the golfing green, but also an enclosed area that is slightly raised so you can indulge in some privacy as you relax in the hot tub.
All the bedding in this home is wonderful, so you won’t find yourselves fighting over who gets which bedroom. The upstairs master suite is absolutely divine. It features a jetted bath, a walk-in closet big enough to act as a child’s bedroom, and a large walk-in shower with six showerheads, and yes you heard right- six!
A spacious laundry/drying room leads out into the attached three-car garage, which provides a space for the more rambunctious members of your group to have a little fun. The garage features another TV, a ping-pong table and a foosball table. There is also plenty cabinetry and bench space so it’s a great space for the kids to have an afternoon snack while they play, relieving you the fear that things might get too messy; or a spot for the guys to have a few drinks over a competitive round of table tennis with the ball game on in the back.
