This relaxing retreat is located on a bluffless, long sandy beach. Designed by noted Michigan architect Richard Bos, its design recreates traditional California coastal architecture to optimize scenic views and capture Lake Michigan's famous breezes. Interior Stylist Barbara Bos created a Zen-like atmosphere by enriching the home with cream and gray tones; in essence, fabricating a color scheme into the furnishings, upholstery, fabrics, and rugs. At approximately 2,400 square feet of living space on the main two floors, the home has informal open spaces provide for relaxing, renewing times at the beach. A short foot path through the dunes leads to an ocean style sandy beach. The home has four bedrooms (including 2 master suites, each with a queen bed), 4 full bathrooms (master with a jetted tub) and 2 half-baths, a large gathering room, multiple decks, an outdoor shower, deck fire ring, and a gas BBQ. The chef's dream kitchen features commercial style appliances, granite countertops, and maple cabinets. The Club Level (aka the basement) has additional sleeping space (1 queen bed, 2 twins and a sofa sleeper) as well as a kitchenette, air hockey, a full bath and direct walk-out to the beach.
