Our property is located in Sosua, one of the fastest growing tourist attractions in the Caribbean. The bay that surrounds Sosua is actually split in to two, with the west side of the bay having a typical Dominican Village atmosphere with its lively Creole restaurants and bars, street vendors and colorful surroundings. The buildings in the area are old and are typical of most Dominican villages, with crowded rambling streets and noisy motor bikes running up and down the streets which makes for a great atmosphere! On the east side of the bay is the center of the Sosua tourist region. Here you will find the upscale restaurants, boutiques, hotel resorts, vill as and nightclubs.
There are 15 golf courses on the island of the Dominican Republic. Three are close to Cabarate, near Sosua and Puerto Plata – an 18-hole par 72, a 10-hole small course, and a 9-hole training course.
