Relax in the charming Truman Annex community which is mid-way between the Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park beach (I have a pass for everyone in your party) and the famed Duval Street.
This is my own personal vacation home that is kept in impeccable condition. Each bedroom and bathroom are on separate floors for maximum privacy.
Overhead fans turn lazily in every room which includes a fully equpped kitchen; an eat in dining room; large living room with vaulted ceilings and paintings on the wall from my frequent educational and humanitarian trips to Cuba.
On the large back deck is also a dining table next to the BBQ with a backdrop of my tropical garden. Go outside my back garden gate, walk down the pebble path and you're at a large swimming pool that has chaise and regular chairs along with tables and free internet access.

Notes to the Attraction :The first outdoor aquarium in the U.S. is in Key West along with interesting museums such as Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum; Harry Truman Summer White House; Robert Frost cottage; the Audabon house; the Shipwreck Museum; Ripley's Believe it or Not Odditorium; the Butterfly Conservatory and much,much more.
Key West is a wonderful town as you probably know or else you wouldn't be considering coming on down. Our motto is "One Human Family". This is a friendly, non judgemental town and when people say "Good Morning" to you, they want nothing but to be friendly.
If you stay at my cottage, just about everything you want to see or do in Key West is within an easy walk. You really don't need the expense of renting a car. Key West is flat so you can leisurely bike around Old Town also admiring the architecture as well as landmarks such as the Hemingway House and Harry Truman's Summer White House.
Airport Information and Direction :
The airport is about 2 miles from my front door. Fare is about $16 plus tip and then you just stroll around town. Well, maybe you should unpack first.
If you drive in from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale airport, the travel time ranges from 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 hours. The drive is spectacular along the keys but if your visiting time is just a week, I usually recommend flying all the way into town.
