This lovely condo retreat is located right across from the ocean with panoramic views of Kailua Bay and beyond, just steps from water edge. It has been newly remodeled offering spacious living in comfort and style. This unit also has a large private deck and 180 degree view to watch magnificent sunsets, Wales,Dolphins and waves crushing against the shoreline. The Bedroom has ocean view from the King size bed and there are 2 full baths. The condo is so private, clean, light and airy. The living room has hardwood floors, the bedroom is carpeted and in the kitchen and baths there is tile flooring. From this centrally located apartment you can walk to restaurants, boutiques and shops, churches, the Farmers market with organic fruits and vegetable, Internet Café, Theaters and night life. There is a tennis and basketball court right next door. You don’t need a car to enjoy the many activities because you will be in picturesque Kailua-Kona, on Alii Drive, the sunny side of the Big Island. Pick up a cup of Kona coffee at Lava Java, ( Internet cafe and deli ) which is right next door.This area is also great for jogging or just walking.Your can smell the ocean air and feel the breeze. This small beach town of Kailua Kona offers many wonderful stores and restaurants. At the Farmers Market( within the same block) you can find many varieties of tropical fruits, flowers, vegetables and handmade gifts. The tennis court next to Kona Alii is free of charge. Just bring your tennis rackets. Driving a car is optional because most activities are within walking distance.
THE KONA COAST: Kailua-Kona town is the visitors center for the Kona Coast region. The town is located just about midway down the west coast and seven miles south of Kona International Airport at Keahole via the Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway 19. Kailua-Kona has a number of significant adventure activities and attractions. From Kona, there is easy access to the numerous Kona coffee farms and mills where you can sample a complimentary cup of Kona brew and learn about Kona's famed coffee industry. The small upcountry town of Holualoa on the old Mamalahoa Highway 180 is a colorful art colony with numerous art shops, studios and galleries in the old buildings lining the narrow, winding main street. There are also attractions like Kailua-Kona's Hulihee Palace on Alii Drive and Ahuena Heiau.Then there are Kealakekua Bay and Captain Cook's Monument, about 12 miles south, Pu`uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park, 20 miles south, numerous old heiau (temples) and other historic sites and beaches along the Kona Coast. Keauhou Bay, Kailua Bay and Honokohau Harbor are busy boating centers for snorkel/dive cruises, sailing cruises, deep sea fishing charters, rafting and submarine excursions and parasailing adventures.

LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS of Kona Alii Condo # 303:
FROM THE KONA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
1.Turn RIGHT on Highway 11.
2.Drive about 6 miles SOUTH to HENRI STREET.
3.Turn right on Henri Street (traffic light).
4.Drive two blocks towards the ocean.
5.Turn LEFT on KUAKINI Hwy (traffic light).
6.Drive about 3 short blocks,(3 traffic lights).
The last road you will cross is Hualalai Road.
7.PASS "Islander Inn" and then turn RIGHT into the "Kona Alii" upper parking lot, parking space # 303, next to the back entrance of the building.
If you have heavy luggage, instead of driving to the top parking lot drive down to the 60 minutes visitor parking first where you will find a luggage carrier. From this ground floor you can use the elevator to te 3rd floor.
