Maggie Valley's tourist attractions and Cataloochee Ski Area are just 20 minutes away. Take a 45 minute drive to the Biltmore House, Grove Park Inn, or spend a day exploring Asheville. Best of all, Cold Mountain Cabin is only 15 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and convenient to the Shining Rock Wilderness Area, Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and the Cradle of Forestry. You will have the best hiking, mountain biking, scenic drives, waterfalls, horseback riding, and nature exploration the Smokey Mountains have to offer in your back yard.
The local area has everything to offer, from golf, whitewater rafting, snow skiing, antique shopping, live music and entertainment, local festivals, American Indian Heritage, the Cherokee Casino, trout fishing, fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, sightseeing, local wine, wildlife, the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, and eclectic dining (amazing food without a chain restaurant in sight). This is the place where lasting memories are made! This is our private home and we've put a lot of thought into creating a warm but luxurious environment.
